Biography

Ruth is a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist. She qualified in 2003 and has worked in the NHS and private practice for over 20 years. Ruth has spent the last 15 years specialising in Men’s and Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council and an Associate Member of the Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy professional network.

Ruth treats a wide range of pelvic health conditions. These include bladder and bowel disorders (in both men and women), and gynaecological conditions (such as painful intercourse and prolapse). She has extensive experience in treating complex pelvic disorders, encompassing multiple medical conditions, such as recovery after cancer and the treatment of persistent pelvic pain. She is also able to offer advice before and after surgery to enhance surgical outcomes.

Ruth also treats pregnancy-related pain conditions (such as pelvic girdle pain) and post-natal separation of abdominal muscles. She is also a certified Mummy MOT practitioner, assisting women to make a full recovery after pregnancy.
